What Causes Bradycardia While On Flecainide And Metoprolol?

Am experiencing slow heart rate( generally 48 - 58 bpm). Believe to be in good shape(for a 68 YO) as I swim approximately 3/4 of a mile 4-5 times per week. Have been on flecainide for 3+ years( 50 mg. three times per day for a-fib. Also on metoprolol (25 mg 2 times per day. Recently experiencing lightheadedness when In get up too quickly. Wondering if I cut back on flecianide and/or metoprolol would my pulse quicken a bit and eliminate the lightheadedness episodes?????

Hello,
You need to talk to your doctor about this. It is true that metoprolol can slow down the heart rate into that range but please do not make medication changes without consulting with your prescribing physician.
