What Causes Bowel Movement Difficulty While On An Atkins Type Diet?
I have been on a Atkins type diet..hi proteome since being diagnosed as diabetic two months ago. Lost 33 lbs and doing well on it. Fighting wth bowel issues though and have been using smooth movement tea to hllp but Somme days need a little more. Is citrucel a good thing to use or is something else better for diabetic? I am 77 male!

As you are a diabetic patient it is normal to have bowel movements problems. They are known problems as a result of slow motion of the bowel motility as a consequence of diabetic neuropathy. I recommend you to have physical activity which will help you more and to get well control of your diabetes.
