What causes boil in the eye?

sir,i once heard that using castor oil
can reduce the body heat,so i tried it in home,
i also used coconut oil,but since coconut oil was irritating,
i used castor oil,it all happened within a week, yesterday morning i felt some boil has occured inside my eyes, even how hard i tried to see what was inside my eyes,it failed,
so i consulted a physician today,
he told that it is called "severe allergic papillary conjunctivtis" and has given me 2 drops bottle to use thrice a day for one full month.

so now my question is........no such problem has ever occured to me so far nor to any of my family members,
so iam very scared about this, especially when the doctor mentioned it as severe,
so,will i loose my vision? or what kind of effect will it develop, can i still work before the computer for 10 hours a day, with spectacles???
