What Causes Body Tremors, Fever, Leg Pain And Right Leg Swelling?

I am 38 years old female. Last month when I reached home from office I got shivering and fever and could not walk becoz of pain in my legs and knees. I went to doctor, they gave dolo 650 and pain kiiing injection and also Hifenac-P. I took the tablets for 3 days and my pain reduced. After 2 days I travelled and got swelling in my right leg. I did hot water treatment for my legs. I am doing yoga daily. Last week again I got swelling in my right leg and pain got worsen. I took Hifenac-P for another 3 days. Pain has reduced. Has the tablet has to be taken regularly. Swelling is not there, but little pain is still there. Please advise ?

Hi,

Whatever be the reason for pain, this will temporarily subside with analgesics like Dolo or Hifenac-P. But, if the pain or swelling is recurring after stopping drugs, this suggests a chance of infection there (may be an evolving abscess or cellulitis). This is especially possible, given the presence of fever and shivering in the beginning. Kindly get back to your doctor, as this might need antibiotic treatment.
