What Causes Body Tremors And Chills?

What could cause a sudden shaking of the body, chattering teeth, and feeling cold all over? I am sitting with an 84 year-year old lady with the sudden onset of these symptoms. Should I call 911? The shaking slows down at times, then it starts back up.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Yes, you should definitely call 911 (emergency service) immediately.
Shaking of whole body, teeth chattering and cold skin in 84 year old lady is mostly due to Epilepsy (seizures).
She is having recurrent episodes. So possibility of Epilepsy is more.
So better to take her to hospital as soon as possible.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further.
Wishing good health to that lady. Thanks.
