What Causes Body Stiffness, Headache, Right Ear Ache And Frequent Urination?

Good afternoon. I have been feeling sick all day. My body is stiff, I have a headache, my ear on the right side hurts. I have been drinking a lot of water and going to the bathroom frequently. I just got home and have a fever of 99.9. Do you think this is a UTI? I have not had one in over 10 years.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

UTI is known to have pain, burning in urination pain below the rib cage in the backside is seen in many cases.apart from frequent urination(which can be due to drinking excess water).

Still, urine checkup is advisable to exclude it completely.

The fever, therefore, is more likely to be an ear infection. Would need antibiotics as per advice of your family physician.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
