i have a full body rash. Also, I have pain in my hands and arms. My girlfriend had the same symptoms and it went away after three days. The rash does not itch that much. But my arm has the same symptoms as carpel tunnel. what could this be? thank you. John

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It can be due to allergic eruptions as in hives. As a first line management you can take antihistamines like Pheneramine for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist it is better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.

It is not related to your carpel tunnel syndrome and it is a different entity.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
