Hello, I had a subdural hematoma in March.... I am still taking oxycodone for pain where the incision was made... i cannot sleep on my right side as well as my left side due to the stroke i has i still have alot of pain as well... i have difficulty sleeping and get easily tired... i do have patches of brain damage... my question is this normal my neourologist said it was... however due to how worded me possibly returning to work immediately i lost my long term disability... I am not ready to return i have an upcoming appt with him in a couple weeks but was asked by staff a couple weeks ago if he has weened me off the pain pills.. i told her no... and have little use of my left hand as well as a lot of pain yet a strange numbness as well... his staff makes me feel as if i should be a 100% by now is assist... I just feel like no one believes the difficulty i am still having my husband does because he sees and is kept awake at not due to trying to get comfortable... am i wrong to not feel like i am not ready... i dont sit around alll dai do all household chores but easily get tired and have to rest after dishes weeping mopping washing clothes... i feel silly mentioning this feel that my difficulty are being minimized..
