Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
She can take simple antiallergic medicines like chlorpheneramine OR cetrizine to control itching if its due to allergy. Another possible reason for itching during pregnancy can be cholestasis (bile problem). It can be diagnosed by doing liver function tests (especially alkaline phosphatase). If its due to cholestasis, it can be treated by different medicines for which you need to consult your doctor.
Hope this helps you.
You can get back to me if having other concerns.
Regards.
