What Causes Body Imbalance Post Head Injury?

My friend received a head injury about a month ago. It s caused him to have a loss of balance to where he would fall over. He did go to the doctors and got a pill for it. I asked him today how he was doing. The frequency of the dizziness has gone down. However the severity of it has not. Should I be concerned?

body balance is under control of vestibular and cerebellum, most probably damage to one of those areas is the cause of imbalance
