What Causes Body Aches, Headache, Vomiting And Diarrhea?

I started feeling sick on Wednesday and went home from work with body aches, headache, vomiting and diarrhea. It is now Saturday and I am just starting to feel better but still no appetite. When I do get up and move around my stomach gets upset again and I have to sit down. Diarrhea has just stopped today but now my stool is light grey. Is that from the stomach flu? Lack of food? Should I be concerned?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of body aches, headache, vomiting and diarrhea. Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons like electrolyte imbalance, acute gastritis, viral infection or due to food intolerance. Need not to worry. You should do tepid sponging if fever levels are high. Avoid intake of outside food. I would suggest you to consult general practitioner for proper examination. Doctor will take history and order blood test. Doctor may prescribe antiviral drug like acyclovir for at least 5 days along with anti inflammatory and antipyretic medications. Doctor may also refer you to orthopedic surgeon if the problem will be related to muscles and bones like spondylosis . For now do proper rest because rest is important in case of viral infection and apply warm compresses on body.
