What Causes Body Aches, Fever, Chills, Joint Pain And Fatigue?
I have been achy, feverish with chills, joint pain and fatigued for four days. Now I have red spots appearing all over my body. I have what looks like a bite on my right rib section. I remember picking off a tick about 7 days ago. I have been taking celphalexine 500mg for three days. I don t feel better and now this rash
Hi That sounds like sepsis to be investigated. However, no matter the cause, i will advise you see a Doctor for examination and a blood culture/sensitivity test. This may help identify the germ in cause and your treatment will depend on the result of the sensitivity test.Persistence of symptoms after taking celphalexine for 3 days suggest the germ is not sensitive to this molecule. The red spots could just be another manifestation of the systemic infection or could mean the germ in cause is of cutaneous origin. You will need to see the Doctor for work-ups like full blood count, blood culture/sensitivity test. You may take an anti-pyretic like paracetamol and eat well while waiting for an etiologic management from your Doctor. Hope my answer will help you Best regards
