Hi Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
Perimenopause or particularly menocause causes deficency of sex hormones in females body. Decreased levels of these hormones can cause variety of symptoms such as sexual problems, mood changes, weight gain, etc
Decreased levels of oestrogen cause you to lose bone more quickly than you replace it resulting in osteoporosis or fragile bones. therefore your doctor has started calcium & vitamin D supplements ( Shelcal) in you. With weight gain there is increased in workload of bones & joints causing body ache.
I would suggest you taking Shelcal as prescribed by your doctor. Along with it light exercise & diet reduction would be helpful in weight reduction and would be helpful in decreasing pain in bones & joints.

Refer to your doctor
Hope this information helps
