What Causes Body Ache Along With Chills?

Hi Dr. I have a coworker that was feeling bad a couple of days ago but came too wk today and was feeling a little better but after he got him and took a shower. Then things got worst. He said bout a hr later he felt worst. His whole body hurt. Body hot then chills and when breathing his lower back feel like urs ready to explode. I think its the flu but I m not a dictoir. Hat should I tell him.

That could be a zoonotic infection so it has to be investigated and the zoonotic cause must be ruled out like Brucella, or tularemia.
