What Causes Blurred Vision?

I have been to an opthomologist because my right eye is having a zig zag of blurriness that began 2 months ago. I have a history of migraines and it is very similar to the aura that comes with those. I did have a severe headache 2 months ago, but the eye problem has become permanent. The opthomologist did an in-depth exam of my eyes and said nothing is wrong that he can see. What do you think this is? Driving me nuts!!
