What Causes Blurred Vision When Diagnosed With Viral Pneumonia?

my mother in law suffered a collaps at the hosp. at first they thought it was a stroke, or stomach
anurisum . After many test they said she had a seizure . They kept her for 5 days because they
discovered she had virel pneumonia contagious. now she is home and is having trouble with
her sight , is there some reason for this that you know of?

I can understand your concern and would try to help you in the best possible way.It is unusual in viral pneumonia to have vision problems. However if your mother had seizures followed by vision problems then it may indicate a neurological issue.
I suggest that you undergo a neurological workup which may include a complete medical history, neurological examination including eye checkup and few tests to get to a diagnosis.
Once a diagnosis is made then a comprehensive management plan may be started for you.
