What Causes Blurred Vision And Flickering Eyes?

i have a flicking left eye since new year day i been to the doc and optician and be told the flickering is cause by stress and tiredness this morning my left eye would not open and when it did i could not see my vision has returned to normal now but i am worried i am a 42 female

It seems from the history that you are having flickering of eyes and blurring of vision.
Flickering of eyes is caused by contractions of the the orbicularis muscle. The common causes are stress, increased intake of caffeine containing drinks... However if the flickering is continuous and not getting relieved it requires evaluation to rule out causes for irritation of the facial nerve.
