What Causes Blurred Vision And Constant Headache?

hello, I was diagnosed with pseudo tumor cerebi in 2012. My symptoms were a bit extreme, double/blurred vision, constant headache. Fortunately, my sister s friend was a neurologist who was able to see my right away. I had a spinal tap done then was put on a prescribed water pill ( diamox I believe it was called) until the doctor instructed to stop taking. Lately, I have been feeling certain symptoms that were prevalent in my earlier stages before the double vision, and am worried it may be resurfacing. I have headaches in the morning and at night, and my headache was extremely worse when laying down. I am just not certain if this is just allergy symptoms or in fact my PTC has come back. Other symptoms: Nausea/ vomiting feeling cloudy/ clogged eyes are extremely heavy feeling lately hard time focusing ear ringing from time to time headaches

Addiction Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Cannot say in your particular case, but generally, if you stop medicine and the symptoms come back you'd have to wonder that the underlying condition is remaining.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Matt Wachsman, Addiction Medicine Specialist
