What Causes Blurred Vision After Taking Lotemax Gel?

My optometrist prescribed Lotemax gel for dry eyes. I took it twice yesterday (Friday) and 3 times today, the last dose at 6:00 p.m.. This morning all seemed well but now one eye, the one with macular degeneration, is very blurry. This all began when I went to the optometrist for a check up and glasses replacement a week ago. My eyes were not giving me any trouble then but the evening after the checkup I experienced blurred vision so I went back to the optometrist a week later. Thinking these drops are doing more harm than good. Please advise. Thank you.
