What causes blurred vision after eye surgery?

I had eye surgery (lazar) for more drainage in the optic nerve. Eye was asleep. After the surgery everything was fine. The next day I had blurred vision in the eye and the Dr. gave me a prescription of Ketorolac eye drop to clear it up. After 90 days it s still blurry.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I still don't understand the surgery you went through but after eye surgeries sometimes there is edema i.e. water collection at macula which is the sight area of the retina and ketorolac is given in some cases for that if that doesn't work we have to give a injection of steroid in the eye. But I would like more details for the same.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

I have a nickel-sized lump on the right side of my throat that has been there about 1 month. I have been on zithromicin (Z-pack) for sinus issues and the lump did not go away. I also have noticed I have blurred vision in my right eye. I don t know if this has been a sudden onset or if it has happened so gradual that I am just now noticing, but it is considerably blurry compared to my left eye. I did have LASIK eye surgery 10 years ago. Just wondering if I should be concerned that it might be more than just nearsidedness returning. Thanks!

I stopped breastfeeding my 16 month old son 3 weeks ago. I have noticed that my vision in my right eye is a bit blurry and I squint when using the computer. How soon after weaning do your eyes continue to change. I m considering a trip to the eye doctor. Should I wait a while or schedule now?

My vision has been getting extremely blurred, almost blind feeling, and also feeling like I am cross eyed... it lasts about 30 seconds... if I cover one eye, I can see just fine, if I cover the other eye, I can see just fine, but when looking with both eyes it feels like my head is spinning and that I cant see temporarily. This started while I was on vacation in New York last week. It happened the first time as I was walking down some stairs, I had to stop because I couldnt see anything for about 30 seconds. I was riding a lot of busses, trains, subways, etc... where I m usually not used to doing that much traveling in moving vehicles while standing and looking around... I live in Florida and just ride in a car.I thought it just had to do with all the motion and things like that... but now I have been home for 2 days and it is still happening. It seems to happen after I look down. I looked down at my keyboard and then when I looked up, I felt cross eyed and my vision was blurry, my eyes feel strained, hurting as if I were literally crossing my eyes intentionally. (keep in mind that if I look in the mirror, or at my husband, he says that my eyes are NOT appearing crossed at all... they look completely normal on the outside... it is the feeling I get that they are crossed.
