What Causes Blurred Vision After Cataract Surgery?

I had cataract surgery about 7 months ago and have had blurriness in the left edge of my left eye since the surgery was done. The doctor who did the surgery said there was nothing wrong with my eye and suggested I go for a second opinion. She said the surgery looked beautiful. I went to another cataract surgeon and he said it is probably Edge Dysphotopsia and described one of the symptoms as an arc of blurriness in the side of that eye. He said it isn t uncommon and may or may not go away. It is affecting my overall vision and I m wondering if there is anything I can do. I wear glasses with a prescription for both near and far vision but they do not help the problem. I had surgery on both eyes within a month of each other and I have no problem with my right eye.
