What Causes Blood Rush And Fainting?

I ve been getting blood rushes again. I think it has something to do with my diet. This recent summer I fainted from a blood rush. I m currently eating Fiber One Cereal/Kashi Cereal for breakfast, Subway for lunch and dinner and sometimes mix it up with another fast food place on campus. Could it be that I m lacking certain nutrients in my diet?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Thanks for contacting HCM

I see that you are concerned about your diet and from your question I sounds like you are a student and not eating well. I recommend that you try to eat less fast food and take the time to prepare regular meals with healthy servings of vegetables. If you can not then I recommend taking a vitamin supplement with minerals.

In addition to meals and eating well I recommend you take time for yourself and find time for meditation and relaxation. School is a very stressful lifestyle and can easily be overwhelming. Take time and take care of your self physically and mentally.

Hope this answers your question. Please contact us again with any of your questions.
