What Causes Blood Pressure To Fluctuate?
I am a 47 yr old african american woman. I had a laproscopy 4 days ago (my BP was great). When I went for my pre-admission tests last wk my BP was very low 86/54. I've been diagnosed with hypertension 6 yrs ago. I am now taking Losartan - however, I just took my BP today and it read 145/101. Should I go to urgent care or ER?

Blood pressure can vary depends on the many physiological condition.(like anxiety,stress,after a food intake and sternous exercise)
your diastolic blood pressure seems to be high (101)may be acute phase.
you can recheck when you are normal both physically and mentally at rest
no need for any urgent attention.
but have an average blood pressure readings in a day and visit your physician for an opinion.
