What Causes Blood Mucus Clots In Stool?

I have rectal bleeding and was diagnosed with first degree hemorrhoids after digital and microscope exam. Check up in 2 months but yesterday got a string of darker red clot looking bloody mucus after BM floating in toilet. Should I see doc earlier and explain concerns? He told me there was nothing else going on.

1. Yes, digital and proctoscopic examination is best to diagnose hemorrhoids.
Classified as internal and external.

2. You say that you have 1 grade hemorrhoids. And again, it's a very very common problem most people have..

3. String like and dark color indicates hemorrhoidal bleed and most of the times it's a venous bleed..

4. So after looking at all your symptoms and history, it's clear that you have hemorrhoids and which needs treatment..
