What Causes Blood In Urine?

I have blood in my urine and some blood clots. I have been told that this sometimes happens when men my age (67) strain themselves with heavy lifting. I did this, during the summer. The blood cleared up quickly. However, it just occurred again after lifting some suitcases (not that heavy). Again it cleared quickly. Any thoughts. Anything I should be concerned about?

Thanks for contacting healthcare magic.

According to your complain you have problem of blood in urine so do urine test to detect any infection.

Blod clot may present in any other kidney condition also. Urine test and microscopic examination is helpful for further diagnosis.

Consent a nephrologist for further diagnosis.
