What Causes Blood In Urine While On Treatment For Bladder Cancer?
Good Evening, My name is Aykanush, My husband is receiving a BCG treatment for his bladder cancer (non invasive, high grade carcinoma situ). He had his third treatment on Thursday. He is having a burning sensation, also there was a little piece of blood in his urine today. I am wondering if it is a typical side effect or not.

It is quite common in patients with bladder cancer.
Nothing much to worry and it will settle by itself.
You can go for a complete blood count and iron supplements might be required if the hemoglobin is too low.
