Hello.I was in a MVA last Saturday.In was rear ended by an RV.I had an ultra sound, x rays, cat scan and blood work done and all results came back negative.Today my stomach is extremely hard and bloated. I have felt light headed all day and my stomach is extremely sore, have also felt sick to my stomach, with blood in my urine. My lower stomach is burning. Hello,
Thank you for your query

Yes, your symptoms are suggestive of internal injury and are of concern.
I would like to rule out kidney injury and peritonitis

*do you have a fever, vomiting or loose stools?
*How long have you had blood in the urine? Is the blood large in quantity?
*any yellow discoloration to your skin or eyes?
* what colour are your stools?

I recommend ;
-a visit to the ER right away
-a CT scan of your abdomen
-a physician consult, surgeon and urologist consult.
-blood tests (complete blood count, kidney and liver function tests)

Based on the clinical findings and test results a treatment plan will be Initiated. In the meantime, stick to a fluid diet, with clear liquids (clear soup, tender coconut water, juice without pulp, water)

It is vital that you see a doctor right away as life-threatening complications may arise. Hope this helps

Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Wish you good health
