What Causes Blood In Urine Along With Pain During Urination?

About 3 weeks ago, Blood in urine, pain while urinating/passing blood..bright red for about 8 hours, then intermittent for about 3 days, then gone.....noticed small clot/mucus type on tissue after I wiped this afternoon, with some pain at end of urination--happened twice........ Had blood in urine about 4 months ago, red...went to Dr....by time went to Dr, no sign of blood at all in urinealysis

You should have mentioned your age too. History of smoking is also important.
Possible causes in your case infections (UTI), stones , parasites or rarely cancer (if you are elderly and a chronic smoker).

I would suspect uti in your case as you had burning urination and blood at the end of urination. These symptoms suggest infections.

Rather than going for urine test (when there is no bleeding) , you can go for ultrasound scan. Ultrasound scan will be able to identify the disease and cause behind it. So get an ultrasound scan and visit a urologist.
