What Causes Blood In Urine Along With Lower Pelvic Pain?

Good Day! I would like to ask about the blood I get to see when I urinate. I had my period about a week ago and after that I experience peeing with blood ,I do not feeling anything except a needle prick pain at my lower left pelvic area. What could that be? Thanks

Dear- the most common reason for blood in the urine is urinary tract infection.Sometimes you have pain, but if it is at the beginning of the infection, you might not have it. I suggest you to take a sample of the urine for culture and sensitivity . You will need to drink plenty of water, add cranberry juice and see if improves. If it doesn't , you should see an urologist for further diagnostic test and treatment.
