Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...hi I am a 31 year old female that is waking up with some blood in mouth. sinus pressure under my eyes. I have been feeling unbalanced lately the doctor said it was from fluid behind my ear drum. What would be causing the small amounts of blood in my mouth when I wake up? Could it be from my sinus and if so, what causes sinus bleeding?
The first and foremost important thing to rule out in such symptomatology is a cancer of the nasopharyngeal area or sinuses as there is bleeding, pain in sinuses and fluid in ear. Hence, I would advise you the following: * Consult an ENT surgeon for clinical evaluation * ENT Endoscopy * CT scan of sinuses, nasopharynx and mastroids for ears * Relevant tests of blood, urine
All these will give a proper diagnosis and thus allow a proper management as per the causes found. Getting a proper diagnosis is vital for proper management and not just symptomatic relief to avoid further complications.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
