What Causes Blood In Stools?

Blood in my stool but no pain or mucus. It is mixed with my stool. My stool is the same as always, soft. It has always been soft. I do use the bathroom quite a bit but that has always been that was too, usually I use the bathroom even if I dont really have to go. But, no for the last few weeks there has been alot of blood with my stool. What could be the cause of this.

It can be due to inflammatory bowel disease, ulceration in the git anywhere.
