What Causes Blood In Stool?

I am 28 year old male, had blood in my stool. substantial amount, and bright red. I just left the gym and did some heavy lifting. I drink a few times (2 to 3) per week socially. Any idea what could cause this? No pain anywhere and no history of this in the family...

As per the narration, most possible reason is hemorrhoid.

In our clinic, proctoscopy examination is done for confirmation of the same and decides further line of management.
