What Causes Blood In Stool?

For the first time in my life I have noticed bright red blood in my poop or more exact, floating in the water of the toilet. it is not much but it is something that I had never experienced before. I m 63 years old and in feel in excellent physical condition, except for a pain in my back which appeared out of nowhere

Your symptoms could be due to pile, polyp, colitis, medicine side effects, gastroenteritis.
I would suggest to consult the gatroenterologist and undergo detailed examination, rectum examination, fecal calprotectin test, stool test, sigmoidoscopy if needed.
Treatment will depend on the specific cause.
Drink p[plenty of water, take healthy and light diet, do regular exercise.
