i always have blood in my stool every day now, sometimes its just a blood stool or something like anus bleeding. what will be the possible cause and how to remedy it. i am 35yr 5.7ft and 28.5w (estimate) i have been seen blood in my stool since 10yrs old or their about and we tot its pile its always fresh and pure red. it normally accumulate and come in like menstruation in ladies but this has been replace with daily blood in the stool. recently i notice that even as at then when i was 10yrs the cause was sugar, i use to eat cube of sugar raw! and now anytime i eat sugary food or food with high sugar concentration = bloodstool/anus bleeding. please advice
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Common cause for bleeding in stools takes place is due to presence of fissures and/or haemorrhoids. This could be precipitated and its frequency be increased due to constipation. It can be managed conservatively by means of taking high fibre diet and taking stool softener medications. All you need to do is to prevent its recurrence is avoiding constipation. Drink good quantity fluids and consume diet rich in fibre, which is semi-solid and easy to digest. In case symptoms recurs, you need to be examined by consulting Surgeon as you would be needing correction by means of cryosurgery. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
