What Causes Blood In Stool?

Hi! Im a 27y/0 female, last Friday I noticed an amount of bright red blood stain on my stool surface, it was hard stool, no pain an no itching, and Saturday same thing happened but there was less blood, almost not noticeable. Prior to this, I took Naproxen once 2 or 3 days before it happened. was there any relation to that? it never happened to me before, help.

Hi Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...

As per your symptoms, You have rectal bleeding & can be due to mainly two reasons
1 Hemorrhoids( piles) is most common, they are swollen blood vessels in anus or rectum. They are painless & no other symptom is present other than bleeding.
2 Anal fistulas is a tear in intestine caused by hard stool passage

Most common cause of hemorrhoids & fistulas is constipation, hard stool passage, excessive straining during defecation, etc. Staining during defecation should be decreased
As constipation is there fibers in diet should be increased.Taking fiber supplements, such as psyllium or methylcellulose, with fluids may help control constipation. Water intake should also be increased. Laxatives can also be used.
If problem persists, you should visit a Gastroenterologist

Don't worry you would be fine
Hoping your query is solved
