What Causes Blood In Stool With Groin Ache?

Hello! Just seeking some knowledge for some symtems I have. Occasional light blood in my stool that I do not attribute to strain during a bowel movement. However with the occasional blood I now am getting an ache in my groin area. Not severe nor painful, just an ache. The ache is not in my abdominal area, it is more in the inner groin area. I am a 42 year old male with a history of smoking and some alcohol, though neither has been a part of my life for over three years now. Not a recovering alcoholic mind you, just trying to help you pin point what might be the problem! Any suggestions or help you can provide, I would greatly appreciate. Thank you, Leslie
