What Causes Blood In Semen?

I had some blood in my semen last night. I have no other sexual partners other than my wife of 13 years and no other symptons i.e. tenderness or swelling in testicales, no pain peeing, no abdominal pain, no sores around my penis and testicles. Is this something I should be worried about?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if the symptoms of blood stain semen continue to happen then it need to be sent for investigation like ultrasonography semen analysis, and if this just happens once and then never happened again then no need to worry about this, for safe side or on precaution basis condition can be examine for underlying cause, it may be infection, or some surgical condition hope this information helps.
