Hi...for a few months now whenever I blow my nose there's a lot of blood, I've seen a doctor and he said one of my nostrils looked inflamed. He gave me a noseyspray to take. Blood rarely comes out my nose now but instead it's comes out in my saliva, if I spit there is a lot of blood. Should I be concerned? Thanks
It should be taken care of seriously and you should consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and he can advise you investigations like PNS View x ray, nasal endoscopy, upper G.I Endoscopy to rule out for the bleeding and treat you accordingly..
As of now avoid vigorous coughing and spitting again and again..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora..
