What Causes Blood In Bowels With Singing Pain During Bowel Movement?
I have noticed sometimes I get pain in my stomach area and also when I goto the toilet I get slightly stinging pain when passing stool but only sometimes, I ve looked into the bowl when this happens and noticed red blotches in my stool and when I wipe I get blood on the toilet paper with the stool. I m a little concerned that it may be bowel cancer I m only 30 but have been dealing with a sore stomach for a few years now could it be an ulcer or something? I ve not been experiencing anything that would make me think I have cancer other than the above symptoms every now and then. Pain in stomach area, stinging pain while passing stool and red blotches on stool can be due to many a reasons.
Whether cancer or not, it should be investigated in the following ways:
Clinical evaluation, per-rectal digital examination, and ano-proctoscopy to begin with can give some information.
Repeated tests of stool can help further.
Colonoscopy and biopsy along with blood tumor markers and CT scan of abdomen can help further to know the exact cause to be treated as per the findings.
Proper investigations is the key to a proper diagnosis which is needed for the most appropriate management of the problem irrespective of your age.
