What Causes Blood And Yellow Discharge In Stool?
Hi I m concerned about my health as I ve recently started to pass blood and a yellowy type discharge when passing stools, sometimes I have no solid stool but just this bloody yellow liquid, i was wondering if you could help me as I m pretty sure this isn t normal as I m only 24. Thanks

Hello,
You need a rectal examination.
The bleeding could be because of large bowel infection or inflammatory bowel disease.
Further line of management will be decided depending on the rectal exam. You might need a sigmoidoscopy.
