What Causes Blockage In Carotid Artery Along With Weight Loss?
I am 53 year old female. I have 100 % blocked carotid artery on my left and it was 80% blocked on my right side. I had surgery on the right side Oct 2014. I went back for an ultra sound today at a health screening and was told it is 50% blocked. I take Crestor 10 MG a day that was just increased recently like a month ago was on 5 mg. I also take metropiraol one at night and one at morning. I just don t understand I recently lost 15 lbs I weigh now 157 I exercise daily for a half hour and incorporated a 10 minute abs to my exercise. Why is my body producing so much plaque?

for weight loss u need to rule out other causes also like infection or metabolism diseases in ur case like diabetes or thyroid. also autoimmune disorder are associated with recurrent plaque and atherosclerosis. so rule out that also.
