Hello,

As this sounds to be varicose veins issue and need a Doppler scan. Since there is the presence of the clot in the veins of the lower limbs, there will be reduced/disturbed blood supply leading to muscle insufficiency and fatigue to set in faster.

Also, you drove the car for 2700 miles which may have made the muscle to undergo fatigue and the muscles pain arose.

I will advise to do hot water fermentation and keep the leg elevated over a pillow by doing ankle toe movement in low intensity to improve the circulation.

Using stocking is good to avoid swelling of the lower limbs in the long run.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
