What Causes Bloating In Abdomen Along With Watery Stools In An Infant?
My 21 month old has watery stools and a bloated belly. I Noticed the bloated belly yesterday and the diarrhea is on day 4. It started out as the bug with vomiting and diarrhea and is now the watery stool and bloated belly. Is this something I should be very concerned about?

This could be due to acute gastroenteritis or food poisoning
In my opinion you should consult a paediatric doctor immediately because excessive vomiting and loose stools can leads to dehydration and electrolyte imbalances and baby may refuse to take feed subsequently
meanwhile you can give your baby ORS , fruit juices and salt and sugar mixed in a boiled and cleaned water
