My girlfriend and I had sex for about 5 days in a row and used a condom each time. I believe I got two blisters from the the condom, it s at the base of my penis and are pretty red. Could it be from that thick band at the bottom of the condom? How should I take care of them?
The blisters could be due to rough sex or excessive rubbing. It could have been due to an allergy to Latex (Condom) or spermicides used during intercourse. Make sure your girlfriend does not have multiple partners. Never go for unprotected sex or multiple partners.
You can apply hydrocortisone cream locally to the affected area. Take care of your hygiene, keep the area clean & dry, abstain from sex for a couple of days. It should get well. If not, you may need antibiotics/antivirals, get physically examined & get all STD tests done to get evaluated & treated at the earliest.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
