What Causes Blisters In The Thighs And Labia Majora?

Hi there. I ve recently started a new job as a PSW. I tend to walk between clients a lot. I ve started developing blisters in my thighs and on my labia majora as well. I ve looked at pictures of HS1, HS2, and HPV but they don t look like that at all. I ve put blister bandages on the bigger one that first developed and I got home from work and there is a big bubbly blister formed underneath. They are very sore because they re open little wounds. I don t have any of the other listed symptoms for HS1 or 2; no fever, no painful urination. I ve started wearing a jockey to stop my thighs from rubbing together but it doesn t help. There is yellow pus secreting from the wounds that has stained my jockey. I ve tried these bandages but they don t stay very long because it is a very dark and moist area.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It can be contact dermatitis.

As a first line management, you can try low potency steroid creams like Betamethasone for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
