What Causes Bleeding While Taking Depo Shots?
Hello! I have been on depo for a year & after my last injection (Dec 26,2014) i have been bleeding every since! It is getting very stressful for me & also effecting my love life as well! I went to my doctor today & she prescribed me to Sprintec! I plan on taking my pills tomorrow! With me having an irregular period every day since Dec 26, About how long will it take before my cycle clears up/ends? Thank you for your help

Depo is estrogen and estrogen does that. Seek a gynecologist for the compensation and management. When ever game of hormones is interrupted mother nature responds this way.

It is difficult to pretend when will the bleeding of the irregular bleeding ends. So it is adviseble to start the pills, right now, and there after also, if bleeding is is continuing you can take the pill on the day of the pill.
The other causes of irregular periods could be the anemia, or infection.
I advise you to consult a gynecologist for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have an M.R.I. for excluding the fibroids, or ovarian changes.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to have blood, good health and resistance against the infections.
