What Causes Bleeding In Ears On Usage Of Ear Plugs?
I used ear plugs the other night and when I took them out, in the morning, I noticed blood on the left one. I don t think there has been any other blood other than that (but I also haven t used a q-tip to check). Is it ok to just assume everything is ok?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have bleeding in ears on usage of ear plugs which could be due to ear infection, accumulation of ear wax, foreign body penetration in ear and it could be due to sinusitis. Need not to worry about it. I would suggest you to take antibiotic Ciprofloxacin along with Ibuprofen. You should put Otogesic ear drops 3-4 times a day. You should take proper rest. If symptoms keeps on persisting you should visit Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and start treatment after proper prescription. Get all the lab tests done and examination with otoscope. Try to avoid excessive use of mobile as it will exaggerate your situation.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
