What Causes Bleeding From The Vagina During First Trimester Pregnancy?

my wife is 8 weeks pregnant and she got vaginal bleeding for one day and the next day we want to see our doctor and he ask her to take Primolut depot injection 500mg once every week i want to find out is there be any problem with the baby later and i want to also know what is the course of the bleeding

Hi,
Thanks.. Vaginal bleeding during 1st trimester might be due to small subchorionic hemorrhage which might resolve spontaneously. Primolut injection is progesterone which helps to maintaine the pregnancy. By scan if everything is normal then u need not worry about minimal spotting..
