What Causes Bleeding From Scrotal Area?

I got out of the shower, dried off, looked in the mirror to see if I had to shave and then felt a "splash" on my foot. I looked down to see blood on my foot and inner thigh -- couldn't figure out where it came from. Finally, I looked under my scrotum and found plenty of blood dripping from one tiny spot. Could I have accidentally pulled a hair out by the follicle while drying off and not known it? What else could this be?

Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history of the bleeding from a tiny spot from the skin under the scrotum.

This is a condition called Telangiectasia wherein a small blood vessel gets enlarged and coiled up and becomes superficial just below the skin to become vulnerable even to trivial trauma and the blood just runs out. This also occurs in a condition called granuloma pyogenicum.

Consult a Doctor / Surgeon , you may need to get cauterisation or a stitch done for a permanent cure.
