OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi,

I think that the first thing that is required for this condition is a ultrasound examination of lower abdomen to rule out if the Mirena is at correct position or not, because if the Mirena is displaced from its position these symptoms can occur.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sujoy S. Bhattacharjee, OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine
